Farms allow visitors to see how spices are grown and harvested, and also offer cooking demonstrations and classes. Hundreds of different types of spices, herbs, fruits, vegetables and other plants are grown on site or nearby. Jozani Forest is located on the west coast of Zanzibar and was originally a forest area.
In the past the forest was cleared to free up space for plantations, but today it has been restored to its natural state.
This park stays home to a variety of wildlife, including many species of birds, monkeys, elephants and even cheetahs. This makes it one of the best places on earth for tourists, birdwatchers and animal lovers alike.
Built in the 19th century by slaves from India, Persia and Africa, it is home to many historic buildings and attractions, including old mosques and forts.
The town’s name comes from the word „stone”, which refers to buildings made of coral stone. The island was once a slave trading post and Stone Town was the place where slaves were sold at auction.
Stone Town offers plenty of places to visit such as the House of Wonders, Mnajdra Temple and Fort Jesus, and, of course, great food and beautiful beaches.
Nungwi & Baraka Natural Aquarium is a small but interesting tourist attraction in Zanzibar. It is a turtle reserve that has a wide variety of turtles, including the critically endangered chinstrap turtle.
Particularly popular is the underwater tunnel, which allows visitors to observe marine fauna life up close.
The features of Mnemba Island are about 3 km long, 1 km wide and situated about 10 metres above the sea level.
The island was first inhabited by Arabs who arrived here in 1887 to cultivate cloves. They were later joined by Indians and Africans. Mnemba Island is inhabited by about 2,000 people, who are mostly farmers or fishermen who live off the land.
Tourists come to this island to visit turtle nesting sites and get a glimpse of the local culture and lifestyle.

It is located on the north coast of Zanzibar, south of Kendwa town. The beach has beautiful white sand and crystal clear water, which has been awarded the Blue Flag from the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

The best time for snorkelling in Zanzibar is the dry season from December to March.
The sea temperature ranges from 28-30 degrees Celsius and visibility is usually best in January and February.
